Terrence Dean recently sat down with bossip.com staff to talk about his book and to give more clues as to who the hip-hop artists are in his book since he doesn’t list specific names. He refers to a lof of down-low gay men in the music and movie industries. All consisting of black man without naming names.

He did however include descriptions of the characters so I am going to take a stab out them. Leave a comment and tell me what you think.

“Malcolm”
A record mogul who has diversified his success in music, business, clothing, and politics and who always has a stunning woman on his arm, had his boy toy in VIP with him (at an industry party)

Never would have thought, but pretty sure he is talking about Russell Simmons here. But don’t rule out Diddy.

“Gus”
An R&B singer/songwriter who had written major hits for artists including En Vogue, SWV and Changing Faces. His clear skin, dark eyes, bushy eyebrows and short wavy hair….he was just too pretty. He eventually became a “gangster styled” artist.

I think this was one of those Tony’s from the Toni, Tone’, Tony group from back in the day. The one with the bushey eyebrows was a songwriter and producer for many back in the day groups, however, I can’t rule out Keith Sweat since he did play a big role in Changing Faces.

“Craig”
Top rapper who was a part of a successful rap group that changed the dynamics of hip-hop with their philosophical rhymes over hard-core beats. Craig garnered attention because of his rugged good looks that made him a standout in the group.

I can only unfortunately think of one group that changed the face of hip-hop and that would be NWA, but since he didn’t say producer as well, I have to go with Ice Cube on this one. I doubt it, but let me keep thinking on this one.

“Drake”
He was a member of one of the most popular R&B groups. They had several number one Billboard hits, and the young girls loved him because the adorable, sexy front singer, Drake had a flamboyant stage presence. He was very eccentric in his style, defying more conventional looks in his appearance. Drake didn’t hold back when he performed either…showing his muscular frame. [He] branched out on his own as a solo artist and had a huge hit single which led to a few acing roles in major motion pictures.

I believe he is talking about Omarion here from B2K. Then again could also be Sisqo from Dru Hill but I don’t remember him in very many movies.

“Eli”
A popular multiplatinum rapper who started his own label. Eli was a forced to be reckoned with. He flew out the gate with his debut album and would become a mainstay in the ever-changing Hip Hop industry. He has been hailed as one of the greatest rappers to bless the mic.

Hate to say it, but pretty sure he is talking about Kanye West here.

“Quinn”
He had a velvet melodic voice and broke out with a sensual single in the late 90’s. His self-titled debut album produced two top Billboard hits.

I initially thought he was referring to Usher who had a self-titled album in 1994 however, this was Usher’s poorest album to date only selling 50,000 units. So I will have to get back to you on who I think this may be.

“Galvin”
Once a part of a legendary R&B group who had experienced a brief stint as a successful solo artist, was allegedly linked romantically to an A-list male actor.

Do we even have to ask who this is. Johnny Gill of course.

But I want to know what your thoughts are. He may not have named any names, but he gave ample enough clues as to who the artists are.

There were many celebrities on hand for the Sex In The City movie premiere yesterday in New York, however there is only one that I wanted to capture for you and that is Lil’ Kim, or is this Lil Kim.

I am pretty certain now that she has been seeing Michael Jackson’s doctor. She is looking more plastic and fake than ever, and it is sad too because there was never anything wrong with her aside from exceptionally slutty clothing, she was beautiful already.

Soon she will be unrecognizable, just as Michael Jackson one day became.

Lil’ Kim is adding to the suspected lack of proper attention from her parents and how she was raised.

Beyonce and Jay-z have been building a home in Scarsdale, NY for the last six months leaving no more speculation of the marriage. This home is palatial and beautiful. I could only imagine what it costs in New York.

TMZ has more pictures of the home as well, however the house is already under heavy video surveillance and security is tight. So there are only frontal views of the home.

It looks like the guy that knocked Suge Knight out two weekends ago is never scared. I don’t know why anyone should be surprised. Suge Knight is very human and he has made his name with the muscle around him. He is too big and too slow to not get knocked out by someone slimmer and faster.

You know what they say Suge! The bigger they are the harder they fall. Too bad Suge has no one on his side in this one. We are all celebrating the end to his reign of terror.

Suge you remember what happened when Mike Tyson got knocked out. No one was ever scared of his ass again.

All I can say is for all those that joke about people having bipolar disorder. I want you to see what real bipolar disorder is about. This girl needs medicine right away. Very sad and unfortunate for a girl so young.

Former boxer and heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has wrote a very detailed tell-all documentary about his life which he released over the weekend at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

The 41 year old Tyson is quoted as saying, “I lived a wild and extreme life,” the former heavyweight champion told reporters Saturday. “I used drugs. I had altercations with dangerous people. I slept with guys’ wives that wanted to kill me. I’m just happy to be here, you know. It’s just a miracle.”

Tyson has also reportedly battled with a mental illness rumored to be bipolar disorder. If you couple that with his recent bankruptcy filing, we would say this boxer probably has a lot to say in the 90 minute documentary.

We will have to wait on the results of this one, but I will keep you posted.

As reported by the associated press, Tyson spares no details in describing his sex life, and covers his career’s low points, like biting Evander Holyfield’s ear in 1997. He admits to many, many bad decisions.

But on one issue, he still refuses to take responsibility. He insists he is innocent of the 1991 rape of an 18-year-old beauty queen for which he served three years in prison.

“I’ve been abusive to women before in my life,” he acknowledged. But in this case, “I thought (the conviction) was wrong, I thought it was unfair.”

T-Pain who appears to be the new age Roger Troutman with the old unique sound appearing on everyone’s album these days. He has been nominated for 5 BET Awards which are well deserved.

Quite an accomplishment for such a new young artist. I am sure we will hear about much more to come from this rapper.

Of course he isn’t the cutest, but you can’t get everything can you?

Rapper Remy Ma whose real name is Remy Smith faced up to 25 years in prison for assault, weapons possession and attempted coercion for the shooting of Makeda Barnes Joseph last July in a dispute over money.

In the end, the judge sentenced Remy Ma, 26, to 8 years. She begged the judge for leniency for the sake of her son who she didn’t want growing up like she did. She stated she was “surrounded by failure, violence and poverty,” but “made something out of nothing” from her life.

Her fiance and fellow rapper Papoose took the news very hard when he began screaming in a hallway outside the courtroom. “All you want is money!” he said, apparently referring to the victim.

“Lock me up! Lock me up!” he then shouted to court officers, who escorted him out of the courthouse.

Sumpreme Court Justice Rena Uviller took sympathy on Remy Ma’s unfortunate childhood but noted the victim had nearly died and will never be the same physically. Uviller called the rapper “a young woman whose anger is out of control.”

The couple was supposed to get married last week at Riker’s Island but the wedding was called off by guards after they discovered a handcuff key in Papoose’s possession.

Can you say ride or die? These two definitely represent it. I feel bad for Remy’s son, but we all know we reap what we sow. We will keep a prayer in for her and her family.

I’m sure revenge is bittersweet for rapper Lil’ Kim who has won a lawsuit against former fellow rapper and bandmate Lil Cease.

Lil Kim accused the rapper of wrongfully capitalizing on her fame with the sell of an unautorized DVD.

The judge apparently agreed with Lil Kim and awarded her $500,000 in damages, far short of the six million dollars she was seeking.

I guess the saying goes, What goes around comes back around for rapper Lil Cease. He testified in court against Lil Kim saying she was aware of who had the gun and who shot it the night that would later send Lil Kim to prison for a year.

I guess now Lil Kim can keep the Bentley.

After four years, we have learned the name of the designer that made the infamous superbowl outfit which Justin Timberlake pulled of in the breast area during a half time performance.

Justin went on to apologize saying it was an accident essentially throwing Janet Jackson under the bus.

The designer’s name is Alexander McQueen just launched his own store in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Janet Jackson was there for the opening.

She was quoted as saying, “I don’t blame him; he didn’t rip it,” she said. “Alexander is so great at what he does — he’s a genius. I’ve loved him for a long time, ever since I saw one of his very first shows 10 years ago in London, which is where we first met.”

My only question, why Justin threw Janet under the bus instead of the designer. Hhhmmm…Maybe because it was never an accident.

Big ups to Janet for keeping mum! We knew she didn’t solely plan the fiasco.

Joy Bryant and Eve were also at the event. I am hoping this is a bad picture or Eve is simply pregnant. My girl has picked up some weight. She still always looks like a diva.

Mariah Carey’s ex-boyfriend Mark Sudack is reportedly upset about the marriage of his ex to Nick Cannon.

Mark and Mariah were in a relationship for four years until they split eariler this year. They were rumored to be engaged as well, although there was never any specific confirmation.

A close friend to Mark says, “Everyone is scared to call him because no one knows what to say. He never thought she would go off and marry someone else. He’s heartbroken and shocked.”

After one week of jury selection the 13 jurors and 4 alternates has been selected. The jury consists of 4 black jurors and 9 white jurors along with 2 black alternates and 2 white alternates.

I guess we will find out if this is a jury of his peers.

Mariah and Nick were spotted having a good time at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California on yesterday. They do look like the happy couple.

Keyshia Cole are spotted out at the “Investment Club Night” every Wednesday night in Atlanta at the Lucky Lounge.

Other celebs in the house included Jazzy Pha, Ryan Cameron of V-103 Atlanta, Irv Gotti and Fonzworth Bentley to name a few.

I guess the rapper Khia 2 minutes of fame on Miss Rap Supreme wasn’t enough so she had to garner more attention.

She recently posted on her Myspace blog that Deelishis from the second season of Flavor of Love had the bug which in ebonics refers to HIV/AIDS.

A radio DJ contacted Khia to talk about an upcoming album and called her out on her myspace blog about Deelishis. What Khia didn’t know was the DJ also got Deelishis on the phone which seemed to shake Khia up a bit. Check it out!

I guess Khia forgot this was the same rumor put out on Hoopz after her Flavor of Love stint. Khia could have been a little more original.

She better hope Deelishis doesn’t kick her in her neck, and her back. LOL!

Al expressed his feelings towards his impending divorce from Star Jones amidst reports of wild partying with women since the announcement of the split.

Al published a statement on his MySpace page expressing his regret for the breakup of his marriage.

It looks like Jermaine Dupri is visibly pissed that Usher has to share the cover of Billboard magazine. I have to say, I agree with him on this one. Maybe randomly, but not two weeks before Usher’s album release on May 27th.

This is a recent ad for the House of Dereon’s introduction of their children’s clothing line. The clothing line is owned by Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles.

I personally think the clothes themselves aren’t bad at all. It is how they are accesorizing them. I am sure all the child molestors will be lusting after these photos.

I had longed felt that some of the clothing Destiny’s Child wore as youth performers were inappropriate for their young ages, however they were performers. It wasn’t something we seen them wear on a daily basis.

Mariah and Nick Cannon first public photo taken of the happy couple sporting their extremely nice wedding rings. It looks like Mariah broke Nick off with quite the wedding band as well.

As much as it pains me to say, they do look like a cute couple. However sorry Mariah, as much as I love you, Selita has you in the looks department. Obviously, Nick wanted a lot more then model type of looks. Mariah has the good down home familiar beauty.

Either way, let’s pray this couple can go the long haul.

Whitney Houston performed on Saturday at a Childrens Benefit Concert in London and wowed the audience unlike last months performance which was widely ridiculed.

The press reported that she looked great and sang even better upon taking the stage in London. She also surprised the audience when her daughter Bobbi Kristina joined her on stage to sing a duet with her mom.

I hope this means the rumors the National Enquirer earlier reported of Bobbi Kristina’s suicide attempt are not true. I guess now that there is no Bobbi and Whitney, the media is now going after her daughter.

We will keep an eye on this story. Something still smells fishy about the whole situation.
